My 341 meeting is this Friday, 10/01/2010. How soon can I check on Pacer to see my status?

Hello Heidi,

It all depends on how long your trustee takes to file a determination and how far behind your district is running. There's no set answer unfortunately. Best you can do, however, is log in to Pacer regularly and see if the date of last filing for your case has changed. If it has, it means something new has been filed and posted.

As for a timeline, my attorney said it would take two weeks for the Trustee to file anything; we received a Notice of No Distribution after two days (our attorney notified us). Our file was not a thin one, either - but we responded immediately, completely, and respectfully to the Trustee's requests for documentation, and everything was in perfect order when filed. That, I believe, makes a difference.

I too, have a question about Pacer. I should probably skim the stickied thread above but I am not sure if the answer is there. All of this talk of Pacer had me curious how it worked, so I signed up over the weekend. I got my login and information yesterday. I logged on, looked up my case number and could see my case, but today when I try and type in my case number it tells me that it can't find my case number. We filed Chapter 7 on 7/21 and we had our 341 meeting on 8/20. We haven't heard anything from our lawyer or the court about any problems and we haven't heard anything about discharge yet, but we weren't expecting that until at least the end of October. Is there just a glitch in their system? Or does the not showing anything in PACER mean anything?
