Hi deerawn,
The wisdom of the forum is, if asked during the 341, be honest. If not asked, don't tell (sounds vaguely familiar)
At any rate, if you didn't know of any job offer at the time of filing, getting a job would be good fortune, not fraud.
Good luck w/ your BK and job hunting,
Tom in ColoCh7 filed 5/12/2010.....341 meeting 6/30/2010....report of no distribution 8/15/2010.....discharged 10/01/2010.....closed 11/09/2010

During the 28 341's I attended in my district in preparation for mine, my soon-to-be-trustee asked everyone "has your income or employment changed since you filed?". Some trustees always ask this, some don't. As Tom said, do not volunteer information unless specifically asked and keep your answers as monosyllabic as possible...there's no gray area, either yes or no. Also agree with Tom in that if you found a job post filing without prior knowledge, that would be good fortune.
Good luck.Stopped paying: 08/10, Filed CH7: 08/27/10 , 341 & No Asset Report: 10/6/10, Last day to object: 12/06/10, Discharged: 12/07/10, Closed: 12/08/10
AHEM.....NOT AN ATTORNEY, NOT ADVICE, ETC, ETC
