On the plus side, my Kodi is back to his old playful, loving self. No more cone head! He's still trying to learn how to pee from what is basically his belly-button (imagine a girl dog peeing) without getting his legs wet -- but so far, so good. The next fear is incontinence, but I think that will be okay. He dribbles a little, but I think it's just part of the healing process. He's only just over a year old...lots of life left to live!

I am going to try to wait as long as I can to file, for sure. I flip flop -- part of me hopes the bank does not pursue me and I don't have to file -- part of me thinks file now just to get it over with and behind me (at least, that was sort of my thought before the emergency).

    Thanks!
I am sooooo glad to hear about Kodi. I;ve been searching the threads looking to see how he was doing. I was in tears reading about Kodi and AngelinaCats "Sailor"
I would have probably made the same decision (hope i never have to) in saving the life of "Squeak" Shes my avatar picture. Shes just over a yr old too.

Squeak is so cute! I love her name, too. i have a Weasel, Bunny, Piglet, Kodi (Kodiak bear), (all cats, despite the names) and Mouse (my 5 pound dog who thinks he's a cat, lol). I'm afraid I'm turning into the crazy cat lady! Technically, Bunny is my son's cat at least. I'll have to figure out how to put up a picture of Kodi.

I sure know the uncomfortable feeling of not having anything to fall back on. I kept my Chase current right up till filing. It had a limit of 20k which they dropped to 3k and when i filed i owed only 900. on it so was keeping it current to have something to fall back on if i needed to(2k for emergencies). I know, it was dumb but my justification was the payment was only 40. so it wasn't going to show too big of a pref. treatment.
It's kinda funny. Finally cut up all my cards the other day. Every once in a while i would pull them out of the drawer, lay them out and just look at them.
I cried while cutting them up. Guess i cry alot.

Squeak was the perfect name for her. Its the sound she makes most of the time. My son found her mom(ferel) with her head caught in a chain link fence. He had heard the cries for a couple days and couldn't find where it was coming from. He cut her out and couple days later she had the kittens under a bush in his back yard. He gathered up the brood and brought them into his garage and took care of them and took them all in and had them fixed. She was the littlest of the kittens and i brought her home.
