Atty sends email today, trustee 'considering' filing abuse

Yes, we were over the median and atty says this was a possiblity (I knew that). However, my 341 was August 23rd (uneventful, 3 minutes), wasn't there a 10 day limit? I'll know more when I meet with the attorney Thursday. Any advise appreciated.

i'm certain as soon as your atty finds out exactly what it is they will let you know.

even if it is considered you do have a opportunity to submit prove of any questions.

In theory the 10 day window applies to 707(b) objections, but the UST can object on anything else up to the discharge date. Those objections will basically be the same objections.

I agree with biotechsolution. The UST has until the discharge date to object to everything except 707(b) violations.
You can't take a picture of this. It's already gone. ~~Nate, Six Feet Under

Another quick question;, we met with out attorney and went through all the stuff to convert to a 13. His assistant said we'd have to make payments 'very soon'. Attorney said nothing, except we'd get all that in the mail. That's been three weeks ago. I asked the attorney about it, he finally replied he's waiting on the 'permisson to convert', something like that. Our discharge from the 7 would be around now or the next week or so, we recieved no letter of any sort from the UST. Can I assume the UST didn't actally file the abuse (haven't checked pacer), would we get a copy in the mail? If not, would the discharge go through if no other things come up?
