All,
So by now my story is very old but none the less important for me to get the usual great advice I only get by asking all of you. So here goes...the other day I contacted my second mortgage company and proposed a settlement. The "default specialist" laughed at my proposal and told me she would call back. That was 2 days ago. I called her back yesterday and left a message asking her to return my call. She never called back. Do you think "they" (the bank) are pondering my proposal and that is why they have not returned my call right away? My husband seems to think the longer they take the better. Any advice? Should I wait patiently or try to contact a "higher up"?
