    The answer is they may look at bank statements post filing date. You are allowed to live, you should not skimp on necessary expenses, so food and books for school, etc are necessary expenses. Don't stress so much, live, just don't spend on luxuries for now. I personally would wait until after thee 341 to treat myself, but I also have taken my family out to dinner a couple times (moderate, $30-40 bills) post filing, bought my daughter a couple gifts at toys r us, back to school shopping at target, etc. Just don't go overboard
