How badly did you fail? How much MDI were you showing?
It's possible a lawyer could make some suggestions about schedule J to lower your MDI. -
Have you researched all angles of allowances within the means test?
For instance, do you have life insurance? Most people are under-covered, so you could add a policy, which would help (as long as it's a term-life policy).
Also, do you have disability insurance? Any charitable contributions?
Perhaps give a little more insight for us as to what your numbers are/where you think you are coming up short in terms of passing the means test.
Don't forget to give us your state and county, bc those numbers are needed to give an idea of where your rent/ownership expenses are (it's amazing how your locale can make all of the difference is the allowed living expenses)Comment
