      Actually, you mean as long as the house you owned was discharged, not the rental correct? Thank you. If anyone has any advice or tips for speaking to potential new landlords, please let me know. Thanks!

        What I meant was as long as your BK was discharged most rental companies said it wouldn't be a problem finding a nice rental house.

            we secured our "new" place prior to filing....since we stopped paying our mortgage and we new it hadn't HIT our credit yet....so it was just one way of doing it.
