I'm new here and just a question!

I just filed my ch 7, I am 20 years old with no assets with about 14k in debt.. I am newly married. I don't have a bank account in my name, but my husband does. I had our joint tax refund deposited in his acct this year, all the tax money went to him though to buy a vehicle. Since they can see that it was direct deposited somewhere are they going to ask me for bank records? I was completely honest and well under the means test, as we are both living off of unemployment right now and when I was working last year only made 28k for the year. I am nervous about the 341 meeting, even though my attorney told me that he will prepare me for the meeting. Oh, btw I am from Michigan.

    Thanks!

You are best to consult with your attorney regarding your question. If you're lucky they will only ask for bank records. However, there is a chance they could ask for the refund.
