    Expenses pre-filing

I plan to file in late October. I have met with an attorney and he is on retainer. I am over the means test for income but I have negative DMI on both the means test and Schedule J due to a large house payment and property taxes.

My question is when I get paid each week I usually keep about 50 - 100 is cash for lunch expense and fast food throughout the following week. Will this raise any red-flags during my bankruptcy period.

    Thanks
    LM

lm, that shouldn't raise any flags, amounts, if truly 50-100, are minimal. But it always depends on the trustee. Your attorney should hopefully be familiar with the trustees in your district and should be better poised to answer this question for you.
    Stopped paying: 08/10, Filed CH7: 08/27/10 , 341 & No Asset Report: 10/6/10, Last day to object: 12/06/10, Discharged: 12/07/10, Closed: 12/08/10
AHEM.....NOT AN ATTORNEY, NOT ADVICE, ETC, ETC

Just disclose the cash you have on hand when you file.

Didn't for us. We just made sure to include it in our schedules and disclosed cash on hand at time of filing.
          Filed Chapter 7 - 06/30/2010
          Discharged - 11/18/2010
