New 341 meeting in 3 hours

So far everything seems fine with my converted case. The chapter 13 trustee paid out my last payment to my attorney before they changed it to converted.

Today I guess I find out if I'm going to have to pay for my car or if I'll be a no asset case. If I do have to pay I hope its very little and I can make payments. I just lost another commission check so I only have the money to cover Septembers mortgage.

Meeting was at 1030am. The trustee was running late so I had time to see how he was treating people.

He was asking everyone the same questions...Did you read,understand, & sign this?

When it was my turn he asked the same questions. He didn't ask for any new paystubs or bank statements. He asked if I understood the difference between a chapter 13 and a 7 and that was it.

I was waiting for him to get to our cars because my attorney said we will cover that at this meeting. In my 13 they had it down that the non-exempt value for both was $3200 so attorney said I could have to pay from 0 to $3200 to keep both cars.

Trustee never even asked about the cars. He asked the standard questions and said have a nice day.

I would guess that that means he has no interest in them or getting money from me to keep them?

Attorney said I should get my discharge papers in a few months.

check pacer for trustee report

Hi Bkman,

Keep an eye on PACER to see what the trustee plans to do, if you see a report of no distribution or intent to abandon assets then he is not going to bother w/ your cars.
