Can a mortgage company call after the discharge?

I haven't paid my 2nd mortgage in almost 30 days and I don't plan to. However, I do plan to offer a settlement. My question is can that mortgage company start calling for payment after the debt has been discharged? I was thinking they will start hounding me as soon as I'm discharged but then got to thinking that they legally cannot ask for payment. Am I way off on this?

You are correct, your personal liability is discharged. All they can do is foreclose. You may have to initiate contact for a settlement.
