    School shopping

    Is it going to cause a headache at my 341 hearing if I go get the kids a few new items for school clothes? (This would be 5 days before we file.) I am talking under $200 for all of it; from my check book, not a credit card.

    I don't want to cause more problems for myself but they really need a few items.
    I am not an attorney. I am just a fellow passenger on a sinking ship. Anything posted above is my opinion or best guess, and nothing more.

    No, no, no. I'm also going to go back to school shopping this weekend and I'm filing next Friday. Part of normal living expenses, not at all worried. These are not luxury items. Enjoy!!

      It wouldn't be a problem here at all. Kids gotta have clothes for school. But ask your attorney because some trustees get their jollies by giving folks a hard time about stuff. Your lawyer will know you trustee's positions on these subjects.
      Pay no attention to anything I post. I graduated last in my class from a fly-by-night law school that no longer exists; I never studied or went to class; and I only post on internet forums when I'm too drunk to crawl away from the computer.

        I wouldn't think so. We went back to school shopping three days before our 341. I did keep the reciepts in case they wanted to see where the money went but I was never asked about it. Clothing is one of the expenses listed on our schedules!
