I'm just wondering how much of your tax refund needs to be in order to be considered "large"? $3K, $4K, $5K or more?

cash exemption
Depends to some extent on your state/federal cash exemption. But some parts of the refund are exempt before the state/federal cash exemption. EIC and ??? something else, can't remember....sorry...
