I've read enough posts on this forum to have heard the complaints of trustees about poorly filled out and insufficient documentation but, having now finally completed my own Chapter 7 paperwork and having found several things that seemed questionable, I guess that the courts must routinely see and somehow forgive small errors on the paperwork, don't they?
Today when I was filling in the summary of schedules, I realized that in my prior Chapter 13 filing, the amount of my student loans was included in the summary with other debt instead of as student loan debt, even though it is clearly described on other forms as student loan debt. It's almost like, in trying to do my Chapter 7 paperwork well, it is impossible to remain consistent some of the work on the old Chapter 13 paperwork, and mine seems to have passed muster with the court and trustee in my prior state easily enough.
Do you all notice this sort of thing?
Going to file in the morning. And then, hopefully, it's the beginning of the end. I'm hoping that since I'm filing on the first business day of the new month that I'll get a quicker 341.
Thanks everyone for all of your help.
