Post-341, Pre-Discharge Property Purchase?

Hey All,

I'm in the middle of a chapter 7, no asset. I've attended the 341 and am awaiting the discharge.

My income is strong. I'm in sales and recently received a nice bonus check. I have zero property, no house, no car. I've been renting a car for the past three years. I'd like to go out and pay cash for a car to use as my primary vehicle.

Is this wise? Or should I wait until after the discharge? If so, how long after the discharge should I wait.

I'd wait until discharge. Once discharged, you can do anything you like.

If you are paying cash you shouldn't have to wait, I would think.
