Bank account missed on the schedule

    Hi everyone

At the date of my filing, I unintentionally forgot to list one bank account in my petition. Would that gonna be a problem? The balance on that account on the filing date was $89.

Thanks for all of your input.

It won't be a problem, but the trustee may come across the bank account when he does an asset search (trustees do asset searches as part of their discovery process) and may ask you to add it to the petition at that point.

The account is so small that is should not affect your eligibility in any way.
You can't take a picture of this. It's already gone. ~~Nate, Six Feet Under

We also forgot to list an account. We told the trustee at our 341 and he wrote it down, end of story.

Same with us, we did not list an account with $98 dollars in it. We really did not think about it until we filed but figure in the grand scheme of things it really did not matter so no reason to bother with it. If the trustee asks about it, he can have it as far as we are concerned.
