    Schedule B and Disability Bens

Quick question, which I tried searching for on this forum. How do you list on Sched B your future benefits under Soc Sec Disability if say those benefits would be approx $1,100 /month. You list 12 months worth to be safe? Or is there really no value assigned to the asset of future pmts since they have not been received yet and you are only protecting your right to receive them? The claim is still in review and there is no chance of back pay.

I want to know the answer to this question, too. The only difference in my mother and father-in-law's case is that it is for social security retirement income.

To my knowledge they don't go on schedule B at all, as they are not property......They will go on schedule C (exemptions).......I know my State has an certain exemption for SS Disability. My filing will have unemplyment benefits on the exmeptions and Im going to use the remaining balance of my unemploment, even though I am likely to receive an extension before I even have a 341........but as of now, Im putting what I KNOW I'll receive

So if you're only receiving regular monthly benefits, not a lump sum, do you even list SS benefits on Schedule C?
