Hi,

I live in massachusetts and have about $60,000 in equity in my house. Have been in my house 20 years. does anyone know how much equity is exempted in Massachusetts? I would like to stay in my house. I can afford my mortgage and pay utilities and food. My husband is unemployed because of a disability and trying to get SSDI. I don't want to leave my house and upset my 15 year old kids by leaving the home. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
