I have been chipping away at filing out all of the ch. 7 bankruptcy forms, but have a question. Do I have to wait until the day I file to fill out some of the schedules so that numbers like cash on hand and deposits and month to date income are accurate as of that date? (since I can't save form data and just update the number and print..)

In this case, you want to be sure the cash on hand is at or below what your state exempts. That means, the check needs to actually clear the bank.
How does one go about finding out the amount of cash on hand is at or below what your state exempts?Chapter 7 filed 11/4/10 ---- 341 Meeting 12/1/10 ---- Discharge 1/31/2011.

Hello all,
Get the numbers close to what you think they will be and list them as "est."
I have also heard from other members that they put down "no greater than XYZ"
or "no more than AVC"
Another thought, put "as of" and the date you filled it out by the number.
As long as the numbers are close you should be OK Trustee knows that life goes on. What they look for is payments over $600 in the last 6 months, or numbers that don't match by three digits or more.Ch7 filed 5/12/2010.....341 meeting 6/30/2010....report of no distribution 8/15/2010.....discharged 10/01/2010.....closed 11/09/2010
