I quit paying the mortgage - Got a notice

I should just put this in my signature but I was discharged back in 4/09, house included with Bank of America.

I just missed the first payment on 7/1 and they sent me a letter that verified what I already knew. I revoked authorization on them for online payments.

It says "please forward your payment by check to the below address." When I log in online it is asking me for a payment too.

My statements say for informational purposes only all over them. What constitutes a request for payment? What should I do to keep from getting any more of these?

They are allowed to let you know where to make payments should you wish to continue doing so. Since you kept paying from April of last year until now they don't have any idea yet that you don't still wish to do the "stay and pay".

If you don't want to get any more notices then you'll have to move out of the house. If you miss another one anyway, they'll most likely start foreclosure proceedings anyway.

I had a similar situation with the 2nd on my home as well. After January, I stopped paying. They then started sending me "monthly information statements" in April.

I requested they stop sending them and to stop calling me. I used the followng in correspondence with their senior VP: "Notwithstanding the disclaimers, I do consider them to be attempts to collect a debt that has been discharged."
