Just received a form from the Bankruptcy Court to fill out.......

in regards to my post filing course. I'm suppose to fill in the blanks and check mark if I took the course and on which date and with whom. The letter is dated for the 16th of July, and I got an email from my attorney on the 15th stating that my certificate has been filed with the court. Do I still need to fill this out and send it in, or bring it with me to my 341 on Aug 5th? Or is this something that probably crossed paths in communication?

      Post filing management class

      Hello debtsucks,

In Colorado there is a form to be filed with the court along with the class certificate.

More worrisome is the federal rule that the class occurs within 45 days AFTER the 341 meeting. This may not be a problem for your court, but something to check with your lawyer or on PACER

This kinda stuff is covered in "local bankruptcy rules" and maybe different for each court.

      Ch7 filed 5/12/2010.....341 meeting 6/30/2010....report of no distribution 8/15/2010.....discharged 10/01/2010.....closed 11/09/2010

I received a similar notice and I was going to send in the certificate but attorney told me not to because they need to file it electronically. They did and it showed up in Pacer on the same day that the certificate was received. I don't think redundancy would hurt anything if you wanted to send it into the clerk anyhow.
