I cannot wait til this is over with. We are over the median income but passed the means test because of our large mortgage & daycare expenses. I asked our attorney again if he anticipates any objections with our numbers listed on schedule j and he said the only thing is the food/entertainment but he said for a family of 5 and kids who have severe food allergies, it's easily explained and documented. He seemed to think everything would go smoothly. We just need to do the credit counseling this weekend and then he will file by the end of next week.

Please keep your fingers crossed for us.

I'm curious-did you end up using the numbers that you originally posted? IIRC you were using $450 per month for recreation..

I asked our attorney about that and he said for a family of 5 and with our trustees, he didn't see a problem with that as it was easily explained via our bank accounts.

He also left our grocery budget as is for the same reason and especially because of the food allergies.

The only thing he said we would get questioned about is the tax return we received in 2009. But, because we used all of it to catch up our mortgage, he didn't think anything wooudl come out of it other than it being questioned.
