    Need help again

just another quick question I called my lawyer the other day my bankruptcy is about to discharge and on my credit report there is more medical bills and other collections accounts. He said that everything that is on my credit before I filed will be discharge even though I didn't list them. Is this true?

I hate to contradict another attorney but, no, debts not listed on your bankruptcy petition will not be discharged. What is on your credit report is not relevant. If these were debts incurred prior to your bankruptcy filing, you need to have your attorney amend your petition and add the additional creditors. Most attorneys do charge for an amendment, so do not be surprised if he asks you for more money. Again, the only debts that are discharged are those listed in your bankruptcy.
