Just got a collection letter from company I did not list when filing.

I just got a collection letter from PayPal, I owe them some fees that I did not know I owed. Therefore I did not list them when I filed bankruptcy.

I have already attended my 341 meeting and I am now in the waiting process.

What do I do? Do I pay them what I owe, do I tell them I am filling bankruptcy? I'd hate to restart this whole process over again.

Any tips or suggestions would be great!

    Thanks!

If it was from before you filed, notify your attorney to amend your list of creditors. May be a minor fee for filing the amendment - I think $26? Tell the collection agency you filed, and give them the case #.
Get mortgage modified: DONE! 7 months of back interest payments amortized, payment reduced over $200/mo
(In the 'planning' stage, to file ch. 13 if/when we have to.)

I just got the letter in the mail today. I never received a phone call or another letter from them before. The debt occurred before I filed if that is what you are asking.

Send them a copy of your discharge papers.

Bankruptcy is a process, not an event.......
