    Pre-Discharge Class Question

I took the pre-discharge financial management class about 15 days after my 341, and emailed my attorney the certificate. He was to have got back to me about the form 23 (I believe), but didn't until now. Today will make it 42 days after my 341 (which was on 06/01). I plan on filing the form tomorrow, which will make it 43 days. My questions are:

    1. does the form have to be received and entered within 45 days? Or can it be postmarked? Will the date on the form and certificate indicating I took the class well before 45 days be enough to satisfy this requirement?
    2. What do I do if, even mailing it in before the 45 days expire, I run out of time?
    3. How much does it cost to reopen my case to file the form?
    4. Will the court let me know if I filed in time, or will I have to check pacer?

Just a little worried because I definitely don't want this to cause me not to get discharged. Thanks for your help

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I don't know which district you are in, but usually there are warnings and such before you are dismissed for lack of filing Form 23 and the Debtor Ed Certificate. Just get it filed as soon as possible.

Don't worry about reopening your case or anything like that unless it actually happens.
