My 341 is on Wednesday. What if anything do I need to make sure to bring? My attorney sent me a list of things that we would need like tax returns and paystubs, but I cannot find it because we have since moved. I sent him electronic copies of paystubs and tax returns, but plan to have my own copies with me just in case (If you seen my post before, my lawyer is pretty much a deadbeat but we've come this far so I am trying to stick it out with him. It wouldnt even surprise me if he didnt show on Wednesday). Anyway, is there anything else I should bring? I thought I read somewhere that someone has submitted bank statements to the trustee? We were not asked for those I do not believe.

It depends on the district you are in. For example, in West Dist WI, all you bring is your driver's license, your social security card, and yourself. The attorney sends the tax return(s) over ahead of time and possibly a copy of your vehicle title (depending on which trustee you draw). In Dist of MN, you need bank statements for all bank accts for the month of filing, your paystubs the month of filing, vehicle title WITH mileage written at the top, and anything "special" that the trustee needs to see IN ADDITION to the other stuff listed above.
Maybe posting your district will help other folks help you know what to bring. I can tell you at a minimum, you need your driver's license (or state ID) and your social security card.I am not a lawyer - I just play one on TV. It is always in your best interest to seek legal advice from a competent attorney licensed in your state. Any information I post here should not be construed as legal advice.
