    Question regarding PACER statement

Had a painless 341 in the Northern District of New York this morning. Now I have a question regarding something that showed up on PACER this afternoon. We are a no asset Chapter 7. On the Pacer query it states: Creditor request for Notices. The creditor is HSBC Bank, Nevada. We opened a checking account with HSBC before filing, but we have no credit cards with them. This is not the same address as the HSBC/Best Buy card....any thoughts as to what this may be??? What is a request for notice?
Any help is appreciated...this is a very informative forum and has been very helpful to us in this process.

HSBC owns ALOT of stuff. Best Buy, included. Just because the address isn't the same, that doesn't mean anything.

Don't worry, the request for notice is just that - they are requesting that all notices pertaining to the bky come to that address and usually add an email so they get electronic notice as well. Also, did you actually read the notice? Likely they hired a company or attorney to get the notices, but are listed on the second line so it would look like HSBC filed it, but actually a third party is getting the notice.
I am not a lawyer - I just play one on TV. It is always in your best interest to seek legal advice from a competent attorney licensed in your state. Any information I post here should not be construed as legal advice.

HSBC Nevada is Best Buy. (among many other things)
They tend to have some low rent attorney try to collect a few dollars for goods you may have bought on their card by writing a letter to your attorney threatening an AP.
Normally these letters can be safely filed in a circular container.
filed chapter 13..confirmed...converted to chapter 7...DISCHARGED!
