Ultimately as long as her solo debts & joint debts continued to be paid - her credit should be fine. Highly recommend against borrowing money to pay off the joint debt now. Trustee would see that as a preferential payment to one creditor - take it back and distribute evenly to all your unsecured. And she'd still owe the majority of the balance on the loan. If that is an option, it is something you should pursue AFTER your case is over.Get mortgage modified: DONE! 7 months of back interest payments amortized, payment reduced over $200/mo
