2 questions....

1) I was let go from my job in May of this year...we will be filing August 1.....I NEVER EVER thought I would find a job close to what I was making but have had 2 interviews with a company that has an open position making 50 cents less than I was......what will happen if I take the job if it is offered???
2) Since i haven't worked for almost 3 months we will probably get a tax refund next year (we usually owe cause we have no dependents)...does that matter to the trustee??

Will you be over the median if you file AFTER you are working again?

On the date you file, your paperwork a snapshot of your financial situation on that date. You can't predict with certainty that you'll be hired.

August 1st will be the soonest the lawyer can get paperwork together to file. The job wouldn't start till the second week of august(someone is retiring) so does that matter? And yes we will be about $10000.00 over the median....
