    Means Test Question

Currently my property taxes and insurance are not impounded and are paid separately. Going through the means test I do not see where I would input the property taxes and home insurance as a separate expense. All I see is Line 42 which asks for your payment and whether it includes taxes and inurance. Could I add the property tax and insurance to the mortgage and insert this value at line 42?

That's how my property taxes are and no, my attorney did not list them on my means test, but they were included in my Schedule J.

I would need to include them on the means test so that I can pass and file a Chapter 7. Has anyone tried setting up an escrow account with their lender?

On the Nolo Means Test, there is a place at the end for "additional expenses", I would add them there. It's what I did for an odd expense even though I had already only had DMI of 38.00.......LOL

I would add them to the amount due on line 42 and check the box "includes tax and insurance". It's that simple.
