Trade weeks before filing? Please help!
We have a few vehicles, one of which we own outright but don't drive.
However, I haven't been able to find a second job so we thought about trading this vehicle (10 years old) even for an older 1-ton dump truck (dump truck is 20 years old but good shape) so we could use around the house and do some firewood with to make some money.
We will be filing within the next month and I am just worried this would mess things up. There would be no loan, just a swapping of an asset. I have been looking for another job for months and there is nothing..this is the only realistic way of making the money we need.
