TT filed second motion to extend time.

I had my 341 on 4/14. On pacer, it is recorded that the 341 was held and concluded. During the 341 the TT filed a motion to extend the time (30 days) in which a home asset inspection could be done as well as a mortgage reaffirmation document could be sent in. I have read the TT had requested a Home Asset inspection because it is common in the Southern Florida District. It was done approx. 3 weeks after the 341 and was no big deal as I really have no assetts. I also signed another reaffirmation agreement (car) during this time and they received it in on the 6/11. However, My deadline for objections to claimed exemptions was set for 6/14 and the deadline for objections to discharge was set for 7/7.

I was all happy yesterday being the 14th, and got up to check PACER this morning. To my surprise, I found the TT filed another motion to extend the time to object to claimed exemptions. This is a no asset case. It has been exactly 60 days after the 341 and no progress or partial closure has been made. What do you think is going on and when is this nightmare going to end?

Just got a message from the lawyer. Much to my surprise, he is extending for a second time because he is having a problem with the valuation of items in the house. I will be talking to the lawyer later today.

Seems to happen

Probably because the UST was in the picture for a while I've had 2 orders to extend time to object to exemptions and one to object to discharge. Now it looks like I'm on a trajectory to get a discharge by July 19th or so. It's a bit frustrating -by the time it finishes it'll be 5 or 6 mths. Sometimes it works out like that. I envy the folks who wait 60 days from the 341 and then get a discharge (which seems to be most folks). The whole thing is leaving a nasty taste in my mouth and I'll be happy when it's finally over.
