So, I get the mail today and I have a letter from my first mortgage. I assumed it would be another, "please call us so we can help you" letters.
Surprise! It's a letter saying: "Loss Mitigation Assistance Denied"
"In regards to your recent request for Loss Mitigation Assistance, please be advised that your request has been declined. This decision is based n the following:
We have received no response from you on the recent conversation or letter sent to you requesting additional information."
Well, I have spoken with NO ONE from Metlife EVER. I have not spoken with the substitute trustee or their office EVER.
Is this Metlife's way of pre-emptively stopping me from stalling the foreclosure process...by previously sending me a letter supposedly asking for information and by not responding I am considered to have asked for Loss Mitigation Assistance?
