We are on-track to file chapter 7 later this month, or early July, just have to make the last payment to our attorney. Last week, my husband discovered a strange lump in his neck/gland area. He saw our GP today, and she ordered a CT scan (asap) it's set for this wednesday, and a bunch of bloodwork. We have very high-deductible, high co-pay health insurance (sigh); and part of the reason we are filing chapter 7, is the result of 5 surgeries in less than 4 years in our family. Since we haven't filed yet, we can include these new medical bills, right? I don't know what a ct scan of the neck/head area is, but I'm sure its not cheap, and our deductible won't kick in until we've paid 4K in medical bills.
