I'm a little confused. Will I have to show the BK trustee proof of what I pay for rent? I live with my parents and give them 400 per month cash for rent and utilities. I don't get any receipts or anything. If I do need proof, what can I do? Is there something I can have them sign stating that I pay them $400.00 per month?

Most trustees will not ask for proof of rent, but if there is anything that looks suspicious to them in your financials (ie like your expenses look artificially low or high, or your income looks artificially low) they might want some sort of record that your rent is what you said it was. I think an affidavit from your parents is all that they can require since they cannot ask for your parent's bank account statements.You can't take a picture of this.
