    Employer Visa

I have a Visa from my employer, but it is in my name. My employer pays the bill after I expense things and it is part of a system my employer has with a large national bank. If I go 7 or 13, will I have to list this card??? I really don't want my employer to know what is going on, nor do I want problems with my abiltiy to pay for work related expenses.

    Thanks.

I have the same situation with my company, but though the card has my name on it, it is a company account. I never gave my social security number for use with the credit card account. Did you?

I don't recall. I know I had to fill out an online application for the card, although it was specific for my company. Can't tell you if I had to enter the SSN though.

I do. My employer also has a copy of all charges on our expense processing page on the intranet.

If it's tied to your billing address, chances are that it would be considered to be your card, and not a company one.

Check your credit reports and see whether it appears there.

            Good luck.

That could be a big problem then.

Also, if you have an employment agreement/contract with your employer, you may want to check that to see if there is a clause listed that if you file bankruptcy, you need to inform your employer. Those in any sort of management or executive positions may have that clause in their contract. If you were issued a company/corporate credit card that puts you at a higher scale in the company/corporation so if you have an employment contract, pull it out and read it.

I know that I do not have an employment contract.
