Tax Refund - filing individually - taxes filed jointly

My wife and I have been filing our taxes jointly for years. I just filed ch7.

I, individually, just filed CH7 and had to prepare my 2009 tax return for the case. To save $, i had our taxes prepared just like they had the prior year, jointly. There is a reasonably large chunk of $ coming in the refund, and I feel like the part owed my wife should be exempt form the BK.

What % of the refund belongs to the bk estate?

I don't know if there is a specific percentage, however any tax refund should have been exempted on your schedules if it met your states exemption guidelines. It sounds like you already filed..did you exempt any portion of it?

          "Are you on crack"?

People here do their best to answer questions on our own free time. If you don't like an answer then ignore it. Insulting people is just plain rude.
