When a debt gets purchased after you file

All, we filed chapter 7 a week ago. Just Yesterday I received a letter from a collection company that bought a debt from an original creditor I had listed in my petition. The letter is dated one day prior to my petition getting filed. Do I have to amend my petition with this new creditor that bought the debt? I'm confused. Also, since it has been a week since my case was filed I noticed on PACER that my attorney has until June 1 to submit certain schedules that were not filed with my petition or my case will be dismissed. When I phoned his office and asked about this the secretary said it was very normal to not have everything filed all at once. Does this sound right to anyone here? I keep getting such a strange feeling about everything surrounding my filing. I looked up (yes, I know I shouldn't) a few other cases and noticed from the ones I saw everything was filed at once. Please any input would be very much appreciated.
    Thank you!

Between filing and our confirmation ten out of twelve of our cc's sold the debt to bottom dwellers (i.e. debt agencies that buy delinquient or bankrupt debts for pennies on the dollar hoping to make a buck or two collecting them).
Apparently this is nothing new and the original creditor is now clear of the debt and can write off the remainder of what they sold it for. After confirmation all the original claims were sold to debt agancies and not one is under the original name.
Filed July 2009. Discharged 08/08/2014. Awaiting closing. We made it !!!! Woo-hoo!

Listing the OC is all you really need. But, since you've only recently filed I'd go ahead and amend just to be as accurate as possible.
Ask your lawyer what he thinks.
