We were discharged from a CH7 late April. Don't want to rush into any kind of credit situation right now. When would be a good time to get a secured credit card? DH and I want to rebuild our credit in time.

You might want to check into Orchard or HSBC and see if you can get a regular card first. Generally you'll pay an AF of something like $39 but that's it.
