How do I find old debt owed? Like 8-10 year old debt that is not showing up on my credit report any longer or being pursued, but I know that it is out there?

We just went through the same thing. I fortunately had almost ALL of my old statements, and I did have to contact a few people to track them down. I am so glad I held onto all of the old statements because none of it showed up on our credit, and it is thousands of dollars worth of stuff. All medical, but still out there. Just try to think of who you may have something with, and start calling.
