    Collection notice after discharge

Wife received a collection notice from Midland Credit for an account that was included in BK7. I have already forwarded it to my lawyer but was wondering if I should respond to preserve the 30 day FDCPA timeline?

Would that be necessary? Or should I just let my attorney handle everything?

Ahhhh good old Midland! If you ever want some funny reading, Google them and their collection practices.

Let your lawyer handle it. You don't even have to worry about the debt validation procedure since it is included in your BK.

I'm not an attorney. My replies are merely suggestions or observations, not legal advice. As always, consult with an attorney before making any decisions.

Ok good to know. Lawyer has already won 3 other creditor violation cases so this one is a bonus too... More money in the pocket...
