Income
We are getting ready to file. My mom lives with me and she gets $200 in food stamp. Is that considered an income? Do I include it? We claim her as our dependent. Please advise.

She contributes toward household expenses (groceries) but I'm not sure if govt. benefits are 'income'. Best to ask your atty how to handle it.
