After 341 & during 60 days what happens?

Do I still have to report any money I recieve and watch every cent I spend? Are they still going to be watching everything?

No, unless your lawyer tells you to report it to your trustee.

....and watch every cent I spend?
If you had to file bk because you didn't manage your money well, then you aren't required to watch every cent during your 60 day wait, but you should. Without changing your money management approaches by making and sticking to a budget, you could end up right back here at some point in the future.

Are they still going to be watching everything?
If you stated during your 341 that you might be receiving an inheritance, the trustee will be watching for that up until 180 days after filing. If you charged for luxury items or made unreasonable charges on your cc's within 90 days of filng, your cc creditors might be looking over your past financial history to see if you knew you were going to file and charged anyway. Otherwise, trustees are far too busy to have the time to worry over your individual spending habits along with all their other filers' spending habits. Just doesn't happen in normal Ch 7s.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

Gotcha. I WISH I had an inheritance coming! Anyway, how do you mean "watch" for something. I guess this is going to sound stupid, but are they monitoring my spending now? Did I give them access to my checking account or something I don't know about?

Nobody is watching you at all. Your Trustee has enough info to check Public Records on any sudden change. The bk Court is not that bad. Mostly they understand and are kind. What they really won't tolerate is a single lie or attempt to hide an asset. If you are totally clean with them they could care less. Relax. Practice your "new start". 'Hub
If I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.

Thanks! I wish I could relax a little, but I'm so worried about just walking away from this house and leaving it sitting. I don't want to be legally responsible for it and living out of state. I wish I could just get the mortgage company to take possession of it now, even if they don't discharge my debt yet.
