Moving right after 341 and have questions

We are finally moving out of this hell hole whose horrid local economy greatly contributed to our Chapter 7. My husband has accepted a job offer in another state and as broke as we are, a relative has offered to totally fund our move. We are surrendering our home and will be renting after we move. This relative has offered to pay the security deposit, first months rent, pay for our U-Haul, our security deposits for utilities, etc, to help us have a new start. I was just reading on another thread where the trustee will ask at the 341 if we are expecting any money. Just how do we answer that if we aren't getting cash but having these things paid for by someone else?

I told her about our situation and plans and she never said it would be a problem so I'm wondering if she just didn't listen or what? I always have to talk to her legal assistant and sometimes wonder if she gets all the info.
First, God bless your relative. What a wonderful thing they are doing to help you get a fresh start.

I don't know what an attorney would say (wish yours would call you back) but I would tell the truth if asked by the trustee. A family member is paying for your move for you.

Also, ask the legal assistant or receptionist for your attorneys email address. Perhaps if you email you will get a faster response.

Good luck to you and your family.

It's been too long since I posted it and can't do as requested. The function isn't there. Sorry.
