Woohoo! Finally!
Finally filed 2/10/10, a year after retaining my attorney and stopping credit card payments.
341 meeting was 3/5/10.
Deadline for objections passed quietly on 5/4 - not a peep from any creditors.
I called the court clerk's office this morning (5/7) to ask how long it would take before the case was discharged. I left a message on their voicemail which still hasn't been returned. Around lunch I happened to be driving by the clerk's office, so I stopped in to ask in person. The wonderful lady behind the counter looked over the case, said it wasn't her case but all the deadlines had passed and she would discharge it immediately. By the time I got back out to my car I checked PACER and saw:
Wow...what a relief. It's been a long journey. Thanks to the folks on this board who have been so incredibly helpful!
So now on to the next step - rebuilding my life.
