    unmarried both on deed only 1 of us declared BK

    I thought that I reaffirmed the primary mtg and the HELOC but my attorney never gave me anything to sign from the bank nor did the bank send me anything. Discharge is complete, but where does that leave the person I own house with? mtg pmts on time and paid to date.

    He or she still owes the debt. If you both decide to walk away, they can pursue the other person for payment but not you.
    Get mortgage modified: DONE! 7 months of back interest payments amortized, payment reduced over $200/mo
    (In the 'planning' stage, to file ch. 13 if/when we have to.)
