Nervous from what I hear about the trustee here

I did a little digging about the trustee here, and emailed the attorney I am most likely going to work with (he has been *wonderful* at answering my questions via email, and I am most impressed at that).

Anyway, here is what the attorney said today:

Rxxxx Rxxxx and his staff are thorough in their review of property and exemptions. I have had several cases with him and can say he does not leave stones unturned.

Now, I have no stones to turn over, but this still makes me antsy, you know?

I wonder what "thorough in their review of property" means....do they come in and check out your stuff?

Unlike Government, he does his job well (the Trustee). If you have nothing to hide, stop worrying. I am SURE that Trustee has passed many bk's before yours. You have not heard of any Trustee bk debtor's prison yet. Feel honored that you not only have a fantastic lawyer (sometimes rare) but a good Trustee. Ours was fabulous. We certainly could have been dismissed for the Eeef Erps, we did.

Just go in with confidence and the answers your lawyer will tell you what questions he asked. Don't think your lawyer is not on speaking terms with these other guys. They are. RELAX. We have all been down your path. 'Hub

You may not even be assigned that trustee. You never know. We are in the Middle District Florida, and our courthouse is in Jacksonville. There are around eight trustees that service our part of the district--one of whom is also a practicing BK attorney, who lives in our home town. We were NOT assigned him.

No, usually no one goes to your home, unless they suspect fraud of some sort.

None the less, as Mrs. mentioned, and I said, you have quality. Would you ask for less? He has done this for years and actually most of them can read fraud like a book. You have nothing to hide, you have no problem.

The only problem you currently have is normal. That is anxiety and we've been there, done that. Again, RELAX, all will be just fine. 'Hub
