Tricky Situation...

I am preparing to file for BK solo, just wanted to know how this would affect my wife. We just purchased a house (under her name only), we do own a vehicle (worth $6k in her name), and we just received a very large tax refund ($15k [house+car+school expenses]). Of that $15k, there is only about $4k left. Lawyer wants $1500 to file bankruptcy, and we continue to have other expenses arise due to being new homeowners. I am well under the means for TX, as we only make about $40k combined. I just want to know if I file, will she be forced to sell her vehicle, or the house? Or, is there anything else that I need to look at? All of the debts that I have, are from almost 6 years ago.
