I just got an email from my lawyers office. My Chapter 7 has been filed, 341 scheduled for 5/20/2010.

Hopefully I can delay starting any new high paying jobs for a month.

I also filed on 4/20 and my 341 meeting is 5/27. My income over the last 6 months has all come from unemployment and throughout my unemployment I was job attached meaning that I could be called back to work at any time (construction). Ironically enough work started back the same week of my filing and it is just a smaller job only expected to last a month or so. I was wondering why going back to a high paying job would be a bad thing as the original poster stated. I am so broke right now and get paid piece work so I can essentially determine how much I make. Would it be advisable to make a more moderate amount each week and why would that matter?
